Special Education Update:  Handouts only, Greg Englar and Deborah Malone-Larson not in attendance.

 

SCOE BIZ:

Judy Thomson had a CSBA web cast by Christopher Thornberg about the state economy.  You can view by logging on to CSBA. 

 

Judy reported SCOE BIZ Bulletin # 10-09:

Second Interim Reports, The CBO/Business Manager = Communicator, Federal State Fiscal Stabilization Funding, Annual Adjustment to Liability Limit of Parent or Guardian for Willful Pupil Misconduct, Annual Adjustment to Bid Threshold for Contracts Awarded by School Districts, Layoffs and Non-reelections and Dates to Remember were discussed. 

 

SCOE BIZ Bulletin # 10-10:

This bulletin covered the 2010-11 Governors’ Budget Proposal.

 

Watch your CASH FLOW in case you need a TRANS or borrowing from SCOE.  Check your cash daily.

 

No major change by the Governor for 2009-10 budgets.

 

Deferred Maintenance Fund – Move money in resource “6205” to “0000” for more flexibility.  This can only be done during 2009-10.

 

SSC – Workshop handouts.

 

Hourly Programs still based on 2007-08 less percents.

 

Basic Aid districts watch for categorical adjustments that will be repaid back to the state.

 

Anne Kopache is on a committee “SS Square” for Basic Aid districts.  Call her if you would like more information on committee.

ONGOING:

RESIG:  Rose reported on the CORBA extended to 2-28-10 and possibly longer.  Those that have RESIG doing their CORBA everything is being sent out, not to worry.  File for 941’s continuing.
